About Gamesmaplez

Gamesmaplez helps people in the UK decide what to play next — whether you are a teenager with a backlog, an adult with forty minutes after work, or a parent choosing something to share with a child.

Why this site exists

There are more games than anyone could try, and most lists online are ranked by popularity or by who paid to be on them. We wanted something calmer: a short set of questions, a clear shortlist, and the facts you need to decide — platforms and the official PEGI age rating — with the date they were checked.

What you will find here

• The Pathfinder on the home page, which narrows choices by platform, time, players and mood.
• “Games like” pages that break a well-known game into the traits people enjoy and show which alternatives share them.
• Mood guides for short sessions, couch co-op, story-rich games, brain teasers, big adventures and playing with children.
• Guides on choosing, trying games before paying, and finishing what you already own.

Independence

The site carries no advertising and no affiliate links, and no publisher has paid for a mention. We are not affiliated with any game publisher, developer or platform holder. Game names appear only to identify what we are writing about, and every image is original abstract artwork made for this site.
